Pophie is an AI Lifeform that lives with you, not inside a screen. She notices context—who's there, what's happening—and reacts in a coherent, lifelike way.
AI is stuck in screens—smart but passive. Without a body, there's no real empathy. We give AI a physical form, turning a cold tool into an active companion you can actually bond with.
Pophie is for people who value companionship in the physical world: families who want more offline interaction, and adults who want a warm, responsive presence at home.
Visual Agency, Multi-Person Conversation, and Bio-Coherence. She sees and reacts to what's happening, not just what's said. She turns when called, but remains silent when you chat with others. Her eyes, voice, and body move in perfect sync, making her feel truly alive.
The next era of AI won't live only in apps - it will live with us. Pophie shows a future where AI isn't just a tool for efficiency, but a supportive presence for well-being in our physical space.
Privacy is our foundation, not an afterthought. Pophie uses Hybrid Architecture: immediate sensing (like motion and gaze tracking) happens locally on-device for speed and privacy. Only complex reasoning goes to the cloud, strictly encrypted. Plus, she has a physical "sleep mode" - when she sleeps, she isn't watching.
We are targeting a crowdfunding launch around April 2026. We want our early adopters to help shape Pophie's growth. You can join the waitlist on our website today to get early access.
We're targeting $300–$400 for the device (final pricing TBD). The subscription covers her "Cloud Brain." Without it, Pophie can still offer on-device presence and touch-based interactions, but rich dialogue will be limited.
Absolutely not. An LLM (Large Language Model) is just a "brain in a jar" - it only speaks when spoken to. Pophie is a complete Lifeform System. She has a vision to see context, memory to build relationships, and agency to act first. An LLM generates text; Pophie generates behavior.
Because we didn't want to build a machine; we wanted to create a lifeform-like companion. Hard plastic feels cold and utilitarian. We chose skin-friendly plush and a warm, constant temperature to encourage touch. Connection starts with the feeling of warmth, not the hardness of metal.
